Hi! My name is Laura Avery and I live in Austin, Texas with my amazing husband and our 2 sweet girls.

My love of Disney started as a child when my family went to Walt Disney World in 1985 and again in 1988 when we stayed at the Contemporary Resort. It was so exciting to ride on the monorail through the resort to both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT! I have many fun memories of the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and meeting Disney characters. Since then I have traveled to Disney World and Disneyland many times.

When my daughters were about to turn 2 and 4, some of our friends invited us to join them at Disney World. What a magical trip! It was an amazing time to see both our daughters experience the magic of Disney and watch their excitement when meeting Princesses at the Akershus Princess Breakfast at EPCOT and all of their favorite Disney characters throughout the Disney parks. After having such a great experience, we thought about returning to Disney World again a few years later when our girls were a little older, but our family couldn’t wait and we’ve been to either Disney World or Disneyland every year since. We have had many magical experiences on our Disney vacations and we can’t wait for the next one!

Having been on numerous cruises, I would love to help you plan your vacation aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. I’ve enjoyed stopping in many ports of call and/or vacationing for an extended stay on Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Jamaica, Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, St. Croix, St. Thomas, St. John, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Aruba, Bonaire, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Belize. Many exciting Port Adventures await on your Disney Cruise!

Drawing from my past work experience as a mechanical engineer and in project management, I’m very organized and detailed. From researching where to stay and what’s new at Disney Destinations, to strategizing itineraries, optimizing Fastpass+ selections, and making dining reservations, I love planning all of the details for a Disney trip. In fact, my family and friends make fun of me for how organized I am, with my use of spreadsheets and presentations, but they have a lot of fun and can relax on a trip knowing that everything has already been planned, including enough room for spontaneity.
