My name is Alicia Reffett, and I currently live in Round Rock, TX. My first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort was in 1988, along with my parents and three siblings. We were on a budget, and had driven down to Florida from Ohio. We could only afford to go to one park for one day, and my dad thought that EPCOT sounded like a good choice. There were lots of interesting things to see, but very few rides for kids to enjoy at that time. Knowing what I know now, I would have chosen to visit Magic Kingdom. After that trip, I left Florida thinking it was fun to visit WDW, but I was in no hurry to return.
Luckily, I returned to Orlando for a high school orchestra competition, and I had a friend who was a huge Disney fan. She took me under her wing and showed me all the magic. After riding Space Mountain 3 times in a row, I was hooked on Disney. Luckily, my husband’s family loves Walt Disney World, and with them, I have been able to explore all the parks, view spectacular fireworks events, ride amazing rides, and indulge in all kinds of wonderful fare. We have enjoyed the magic of the Disney Cruise Line as well!
Whether you are considering your first trip to Walt Disney World, or another vacation like a Disney Cruise Line sailing, Royal Carribean Cruise, Disneyland Resort, or Universal Studios, I would love to help you find all the magic. Your family will remember and treasure this vacation for years to come.
